financial centerStockton, Calif. Stockton-based Financial Center Credit Union is turning heads with the development of its newest branch. Located in Stocktons "South Side", the branch will provide greatly needed financial services to a community that is largely underserved. This fact hasnt been missed by local media, which has been following the building project. Michael Duffy, Financial Centers President and CEO couldnt be happier about the recent media attention. Duffy hopes the new branch will pave the way for further redevelopment of the neighborhood, which is void of many services. "It all started with a simple goal, to serve people in their neighborhood - hence making it all of our neighborhood. Now five years later the vision is becoming a reality and our loyal membership base in South Stockton couldnt be happier," said Duffy. "We look forward to the completion of this newest branch that we know will benefit our members, as well as bring value to the south Stockton neighborhood and community." With the addition of the future branch, which will be located at 2405 S. Airport Way, Financial Center will be one of only two financial institutions servicing the entire South area of Stockton, which is home to roughly 100,000 individuals. The news of the new branch has been featured in a variety of publications including the Central Valley Business Journal, Stockton Record, and Construction Weekly.
