Royal Credit Unions 540+ team members gathered Monday for our corporate meeting at UW-Stout Memorial Student Center. In addition to celebrating a successful 2014 and planning for the year ahead, we took time during the meeting to help others. Prior to the meeting, RCU team members collected nearly $2,000 cash and donated thousands of items that were used towards these service projects benefitting over 28 area non-profit organizations. The initiative, called "The Power of an Hour", was where RCU team members were assigned to one of 19 different projects including assembling toiletry baskets for homeless shelters, making fleece tie dog beds for humane associations, creating thank you cards for active duty military, packaging craft kits for after-school programs and so much more! The projects were completed for organizations that serve communities throughout Royals field of membership in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
