Dakota Plains Credit Union Raises Funds for Local Food Pantries

dakotaplains_uglysweaterNorth Dakota - Dakota Plains Credit Union held an ugly sweater contest in December. Employees donned their version of an unfortunate garment, and local residents were invited to vote for the ugliest sweater by making a donation. The Enderlin branch winner was Julie, and their donations benefitted the Ransom County food pantry.� The Edgeley office pronounced Lisa their winner, and the Edgeley food pantry received the funds from their contest. Finally, Resa won the ugliest honors at the Ellendale branch, with their donations benefitting the Ellendale food pantry. All together, the three branches raised nearly $500 for the local food pantries. �Edgeley raised $134, Enderlin topped that with $165.45, and Ellendale brought in $200. DPCU is grateful to the credit union members and local residents for their generous participation.
