South Dakota - During the month of November, Ft. Randall Federal Credit Union based in Charles Mix County, SD held their 2
nd Annual "Coats 4 Kids" Winter Clothing Drive.
The response from their community was overwhelming.� The credit union was able to collect over 200 winter coats, along with many mittens, hats, and scarves.� In addition, this year, the 6
th grade class from Platte-Geddes Elementary School partnered with the credit union for their schools service day project. �The students collected and sorted some of the coats that were distributed. The coats were donated to at-need organizations throughout Charles Mix County during the month of December.
"We are so thankful to our communities for their gracious support it was a wonderful way to start the holiday season!" stated Cassi Sprik, MSR at Ft. Randall FCU.
