Gulf Coast Educators FCU Donates $3,500 for Toy Drives

Gulf Coast Educators employees donate $5 on select days to wear denim which goes toward donations to local charities or local branches of national charities. In December, there were $3,500 in the fund for toys and cash donations to support toy drives in each of the credit unions local branch cities of Pasadena, League City and Pearland. �The credit union employees finished the year with $7,589 in donations to charities through the denim days program.
Breakdown of 2014 Denim Day Funds:
$500 to the American Heart Association
$150 to the Texas Credit Union Foundation
$470 to UHCL Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities
$475 for Miracle Jean Day- Childrens Miracle Network
$200 to ALS Texas Chapter
$1500 to local food banks- Houston Food Bank and Galveston Food Bank
$794 to the Pasadena ISD Komen Team
$3500 for toys- Pasadena Police Department, League City Police Department and Pearland ISD
