KashForKids_LRFargo, ND - During Co-op month in October Town & Country launched a special project to raise funds for the Childrens Miracle Network benefiting the Sanford Childrens Hospital in Fargo. Through a partnership with Radio Fargo Moorhead, this project asked kids and the public to bring their piggy bank money in to any Fargo area Town & Country Credit Union location and donate their spare change to the Childrens Miracle Network. With a donation from Town & Country combined with the donations from the community and Credit Union members $2,350 was donated to the Childrens Miracle Network. "Credit Unions have a long history of supporting the Childrens Miracle Network through Credit Unions for Kids. This is the first time Town & Country has taken on a large fundraiser to benefit the Sanford Childrens Hospital. Were excited at the results and even more excited to grow this into an annual project," commented Shannon Webster, SVP Marketing at Town & Country Credit Union. The funds donated will go towards research and training, purchasing equipment and paying for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. Town & Country Credit Union has five locations in the Fargo area including one in the Sanford Heath Center at 801 Broadway.
