SIOUX FALLS, SD ---Voyage Federal Credit Union has participated in raising money for three different causes since they kicked off their 75
th year in May. The first cause that they took on was partnering with the Avera Foundation in raising money for Breast Cancer research. This year, in addition to sponsoring the Breast Cancer Race, Voyage FCU also added to this engagement by creating a retractable banner and delightfully naming it, "the 'Let's Find A Way' Hashtag wall". At the race they brought the "wall" and took pictures of the individual runners, volunteers and workers. Then the participants were asked to go onto Voyage FCU's website to submit a story and check out Voyage FCU's social media pages to "Share" their picture. Voyage FCU then promised to donate $1 to Breast Cancer Research for every picture taken in front of the wall during the race. They also donated another $1 for every photo shared on social media platforms and stories submitted on their website cause page,
"Lets Find A Way".
On November 19th, Voyage FCU presented a check for $500.00 to the Avera McKennan Foundation for all the funds raised. Voyage Federal Credit Union is planning on partnering again with Avera next year at the race so keep a lookout for their green hashtag wall!
