captureLangley, B.C.Envision Financial is proud to launch the Full Cupboard Holiday Program for a fifth consecutive year to help spread some holiday cheer to those in need in our local communities. Last year over 1,800 gifts and 5,974 pounds of food were collected through this program for families and individuals in need in our local communities. This year, the team at Envision Financial is hoping to collect even more. "The feedback that we receive from our community partners on our Full Cupboard Holiday Program has been extremely positive," says Susan Byrom, manager of community investment at Envision Financial. "Food Bank Canadas HungerCount 2014 revealed that BC food bank usage is up 3.6% and 30.8% of food bank users are children. Thats why we are so proud of our Full Cupboard Holiday Program. By participating in this initiative, local residents have the opportunity to give a gift worth giving and make the holidays brighter for families, children and seniors in our communities." Starting today, all Envision Financial locations will display a decorated Christmas tree with Full Cupboard tags containing gift suggestions for a child or senior in the local community as well as tags representing the most wanted food items from local food banks. Members of the community are invited to make a meaningful difference by taking an ornament from the tree and returning it with a new and unwrapped gift, food or cash donation by December 13. All gifts and cash donations will be delivered to a local non-profit agency, food bank or Christmas Bureau.
