Credit Union Celebrates International Credit Union Day

FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS - Every year since 1948 the third Thursday of October has been dubbed International Credit Union Day.� It is a day established to celebrate the history and achievements of credit unions from around the world.� This years International Credit Union Day fell on October 16th, and the theme was "Local Service.� Global Good.", emphasizing the positive impact that credit unions have on the communities they are a part of.� St. Annes Credit Union was happy to celebrate the day with their members by giving out Trick-or-Treat bags, International Credit Union Day pens, sharing the history of the Day, and holding a poster coloring contest for their younger members.
