Credit Union Raises $800 for Breast Cancer Awareness

Capture   FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS - In early October, St. Annes Credit Unions employees supported Breast Cancer Awareness month by participating in the nationwide "Lee National Denim Day".� Employees donated $5 or more to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research and wore pink ribbons and denim on October 4th, overall raising nearly $800.� Since its creation in 1996, participants in "Lee National Denim Day" have raised more than $91 million for the fight against breast cancer.� St. Annes Credit Union supports "Lee National Denim Day" every year, and encourages their employees to participate in their "Think Pink" photo contest, dressing in pink and denim, and decorating their branches and departments.� This year two branches went above and beyond raising awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society, the South End Branch in Fall River and the Somerset Branch.
