Sioux Falls, SD - Voyage FCU is continuing the "75 Days of Fur" cause for the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society with their first of three on-sites at the facilities. Working the event last week was Molly Brown, marketing coordinator and Emily, a financial service specialist from Voyage FCU. �Joining them was radio host Johnny V from station 104.7, who did live remotes throughout the day. There was also an annual bake sale, so traffic was terrific and everyone was happy with sweets in their bellies!
Many people joined the fun by getting a picture alongside one of the many sweet animals available for adoption. If you are not familiar with the Voyage hashtag wall, Letsfindaway, here is some information:� For every picture taken in front of the wall, Voyage FCU donates a dollar to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society.� Also, every time someone "Shares" a story through their social media sites, they donate another dollar, and another for every story submitted! As of now, Voyage FCU has over 200 pictures, 47 shares and half a dozen stories for this cause.� Thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers we actually got pictures not just of dogs but also of kittens, bunnies, birds and ferrets!
"The hours went by fast and before we realized it we had taken over 50 pictures, 7 animals had been adopted and 2 bags of puppy chow were eaten" said Brown. "To keep giving back to our furry friends, please tag the images and share your story on our website at
