Credit Union Raises Nearly $18,000 for Local Charities

affinityBasking Ridge, NJ - On Tuesday, October 7, 2014, the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation hosted its 3rd annual Casino Night at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ. From 6:00 pm 10:00 pm, guests indulged in a night full of gourmet food, gambling and networking all to support a worthy cause. Guests arrived in their lavish attire and participated in games of Blackjack, Roulette, Craps or Poker. Winners received an array of prizes, ranging from a social membership to Bella Vista Country Club to tickets to the final Rutgers Big Ten football game of the season. While gambling, guests were treated to delicious gourmet food and an open bar. Attendees also got the chance to network with business leaders over the course of the night. "We had a record turnout for this event, and raised nearly $18,000 to support local, grassroots charitable organizations in the communities we serve," said Dr.Lauretta Farrell, Executive Director, Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation.
