tccu day of caring2Fargo, ND - Town & Country Credit Union employees took time to give back to elderly Fargo area residents by taking part in the United Way Day of Giving. Employees from the credit unions Fargo offices helped out at Jennie W.'s house where they washed and dusted woodwork. They also washed interior and exterior windows, raked leaves, vacuumed carpets, cleaned kitchen and bathroom floors, shook out drapes, put on the air conditioner cover and swept garage floors. The Town & Country crew even received a thank you card from Jennie thanking the staff for helping her complete the projects that she is unable to do. She praised their hard work and thanked them for making her house look so nice and clean. Staff from the credit unions West Fargo office volunteered at the home of Jeanette S. and Rose G. They washed windows, raked and collected leaves, emptied flower pots, swept and cleaned the garage, covered the air condition units and stored away patio furniture. Liz Johnson, a volunteer from our West Fargo office, said "We had a great time talking with and helping out our homeowners. They were both so interesting and had so many fun stories. I'd love to volunteer with them again!"
