CTILOWELL, MA Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne DArc Credit Union, is pleased to announce that Jeanne DArc Credit Union has donated $7,500 to Community Teamwork, Inc. of Greater Lowell. "We are pleased to help Community Teamwork continue its important work," Mr. Cochran said. "Community Teamworks mission of strengthening communities and reducing poverty complements Jeanne DArcs mission of helping people make smart financial choices, and we are thrilled to support them with their endeavors." Karen Frederick, executive director of Community Teamwork, Inc., said Community Teamwork has very little flexible money in its budget and the donation from Jeanne DArc Credit Union will assist in their efforts to get people connected to education, training, and jobs. "This was a significant contribution that will help us to reach our goals," Frederick said. "It was a great boost to receive this generous donation from Jeanne DArc and we truly appreciate it. This will help us to become a stronger and more sustainable organization" The funds are being used to purchase tax credits, as approved by the state legislature in 2012, which will allow Community Teamwork, Inc. to expand its capacity, particularly with its community development corporation capabilities.
