CaptureFALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS - It was a beautiful day for the Southeastern Massachusetts Walk to End Alzheimers that was held on Sunday, September 28th, at Fort Taber in New Bedford. Organized by the Alzheimers Association the Walk raises awareness and funds for Alzheimers care, support and research, and annually there are more than 600 walks nationwide. This was the first time that the Walk was held at Fort Taber, but with its great walking path right along the water its sure to not be the last. Almost 30 St. Annes Credit Union employees, friends and family members attended, making this the 3rd year in a row that Team St. Annes has participated in the Walk to End Alzheimers. Many employees came together to raise funds for the Alzheimers Association, and St. Annes was once again the Promise Garden sponsor at the event, making the Credit Unions total donation over $2,750. St. Annes is proud to support such an important cause and happy to be able to sponsor the Promise Garden, where attendees can personalize a pinwheel flower with why they joined the Walk and plant it in a "garden" for all to see. Shown in the picture are employees, friends, and family members that came together to form Team St. Annes Credit Union.
