Credit Union Supports Children's Miracle Network Hospital

CaptureLOS ANGELES, CA SkyOne Federal Credit Union has announced its participation in Miracle Jeans Day, which raised funds to benefit the Childrens Miracle Network. SkyOne hosted fundraising throughout its local branch offices across the United States. Employees, members, and partners joined together in the month of September to trade in their work attire for jeans and help raise funds for kids at their local Childrens Miracle Network Hospital.� SkyOne Federal Credit Unionhas been a long supporter of local charities, with particular interest in programs that benefit children. For the fifth consecutive year, SkyOne executives have approved participation in Miracle Jeans Days, which raises needed funding to support a network of 170 member hospitals that treat 1 in 10 kids in North America each year. "The Miracle Jeans Days are a fun way for our employees, members, and partners to all join together and help make sure the children in our local communities receive the necessary medical care they so desperately need," said Eileen Rivera, CEO of SkyOne Federal Credit Union. This years Miracle Days Fundraising Campaign was centered around a superheroes theme and the importance of everyone playing an active role in supporting the health of children in their communities. Activities included casual days, Miracle Mondays, bake sales, games and a raffle that was supported by local vendors. There was even a good-spirited competition among SkyOne branches to raise the most donations.� Just this year alone SkyOne raised over $3,000 for the Childrens Miracle Network, making an important contribution to helping children get the care they need.
