Credit Union Helps to "Stuff the Bus" with School Supplies

StuffTheBus2014On Monday, August 18th, representatives from Diamond Credit Union delivered nine boxes of school supplies to the Pottstown Family Center. The supplies were donated by individual Diamond employees beginning July 16th through August 14th. The Family Services Office will present the supplies to the local Pottstown families they service who are in need of help during this back-to� school season. Family Services is a community partner of the United Way and the Pottstown Family Center is just one of Family Services many programs. During the delivery of the supplies, Jessica McCartin, Family Development Program Coordinator at the Pottstown Family Center, gave employees of Diamond additional insight into the Center. The Center offers support programs and services that help families learn, grow and achieve self-sufficiency. The Family Center offers a variety of services for children and families in the greater Pottstown area including PEAK (Pottstown Early Action for Kindergarten Readiness), Parents as Teachers (PAT) Home Visitation, parent education workshops, and much more. "Being able to give back to our community is one of the core values that keeps Diamond going strong. Our employees never hesitate to jump in and offer support in any way they can.
