Williston, ND - Western Cooperative Credit Union is proud to announce the success of Stephanie Storbakkens Leadership Williston community project, the Diabetes Awareness Walk, held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the ARC.
WCCU sponsored Stephanie, who is a Loan Department Assistant, to attend the Leadership Williston program, coordinated by the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce. The program requires a community betterment project, and Stephanie chose to plan and facilitate a Diabetes Awareness Walk in honor of her niece, Aubrie. The walk raised $6,829.00 for the American Diabetes Association!
