Credit Union is on Minnesota FoodShare's Top Givers' List

us federalBURNSVILLE, Minn.��US Federal Credit Unions (USFCU) outstanding food and money donations raised during the 2014 campaign has ranked on the Minnesota FoodShares Top 10 corporate campaign givers list. The Top 10 corporate campaign list is determined by the amount of money and pounds each corporation raises during the Minnesota FoodShare drive. As a company with less than 200 employees, USFCU collected 2,375.93 pounds of food and monetary donations of $6,095.49 totaling�8,471.42 dollars/pounds. This contribution stood tall with some of Minnesotas largest companies such as General Mills, 3M Company, Medtronic, Inc., and others, many who employ thousands. Throughout the campaign, USFCU hosted internal events at the corporate office and branches to encourage donations among employees. Events included a silent auction, bake sale, a Waffle Breakfast, a Walking Taco Lunch, and "Casual for a Cause" Fridays. "We are honored to receive this ranking and are pleased to see that US Federals values make a difference in the community we serve," said Bill Raker, USFCU President/CEO. "We look forward to donating in next years campaign."
