Deer Park, TX - The Furthering Community Unity (FCU) Team powered by Shell FCU completed their fifth annual "Supplies for Students" drive benefiting Deer Park, Pasadena, La Porte, Pearland, Houston, Humble and Galena Park Independent School Districts.
Throughout the month of July, all eight Shell FCU locations collected monetary and school supply donations. Shell FCU employees purchased jeans on Thursdays, hosted bake sales and raffled items to benefit the drive. In total, the FCU Team raised over $3,200 to purchase school supplies for the designated school districts. Thanks to the efforts of the community, Shell FCU members and employees the 2014 Supplies for Students drive was a huge success.
