Credit Union Supports "Back To School Nutrition"

1st financialWentzville, MO- 1st Financial Federal Credit Union is excited to host "Back to School Nutrition, Unlocking the Keys to Success". This seminar, which covers the importance of childhood nutrition, is scheduled for Thursday, September 18th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the 1st Financial Wentzville Branch at 1232 Wentzville Parkway. The free session is open to all parents and soon to be parents in St. Charles and Lincoln Counties. This is the third of four seminars 1st Financial is hosting in 2014 with the goal of educating the community on various important topics related to parenting and education. Nutritionist Jennifer McDaniel will be the keynote speaker for this class. Topics for discussion will include:
  • Healthy ideas for breakfast, Snacks, and Dinner on the go
  • Adding Vegetables to your childs diet
  • Family friendly recipes
  • Nutritional Information for some of your favorite foods
Jennifer McDaniel MS, RDN, CSSD, LD, has been quoted in Mens Health Magazine, US News and World Report, MSN.com, and STL Today for her views on health and wellness. She is a national media spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a regular contributor to KTVI FOX 2 News as part of STL MOMS. Mrs. McDaniel started McDaniel Nutrition Therapy (MNT), LLC in 2010 with the sole purpose to make healthy eating easier and enjoyable.
