Nominated by his daughter, Beth Miltner, Mr. Surgens was an honored guest at a recent Spinners game with her, other family and friends. He was recognized during a pre-game ceremony before enjoying the game from a luxury suite. "Mr. Surgens and his fellow World War II veterans are the kind of hero we should be taking every opportunity to honor," said Chairman of the Board Paul Marotta. "It was a special treat for us, the Spinners, and everyone in LeLacheur Park to do so that day."
