FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS - �Steppingstone, Inc. sponsored its 12
th annual Get Steppin 5K Walk this past Saturday, August 16
th, in downtown Fall River.� The walk began in the parking lot of the Steppingstone building on North Main Street and then wound its way through historic Fall River, before ending back in front of the Steppingstone building.� St. Annes Credit Union donated nearly $500 to this local organization, and also had a team representing the Credit Union walking in the event.� Proceeds from this annual event go to help support Steppingstones First Step Inn, a shelter for men and women in the City of Fall River that in the last year alone served 276 individuals.� The funds raised help to provide the homeless with educational opportunities, counseling, healthy and warm meals, and shelter and other services aimed at helping people become and remain clean, sober and safe.� St. Annes Credit Union proudly sponsors walkers every year for this cause and donates funds to help support Steppingstone, Inc. and all of their endeavors.
