NEWARK, OH Hopewell Federal Credit Union held its annual Car Show on Saturday, July 19
th, 2014 at its branch office on North 21
st Street. Proceeds from the event benefitted the
Licking County Humane Society (LCHS), a non-profit volunteer organization devoted to the humane treatment of animals, operates a no-kill shelter in Heath, Ohio.
The event, sponsored by
Webb Financial Group, Madison-Collins-Stephens Insurance,
Courtesy Ambulance, and
Mantonya Chiropractic Centers, was coordinated by JimMatheny of Kar Shoz. Despite the soggy weather conditions, proceeds for the event totaled $1000.00 and will be presented to LCHS in the weeks to come. The event brought in twenty six cars featuring a variety of years, makes and models.
Attendees of the event enjoyed free admission, DJ music, food from Poppys Roadside Diner, 50/50 raffle, and door prize drawings. The Licking County Humane Society was on hand with some of their adoptable pets.
