Credit Union Association of Rhode Island Scholarship Winner
Jocelyn Foraker of Hope Valley, RI was recently awarded a scholarship by the Credit Union Association of Rhode Island. Jocelyn who was sponsored by the Westerly Community Credit Union in Westerly, RI was selected from hundreds of applicants submitted to credit unions from throughout Rhode Island.
Applications were evaluated on a variety of criteria including the community involvement, extracurricular activities, and the quality and content of an essay that addressed the applicants intended major field of study and career goals.
Jocelyn, who will be studying Actuarial Science at the University of Connecticut in the fall, has a high academic achievement and commitment to the community.
