Rapid City, SD - Highmark Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce their plans to host the 4
th Annual CU on the Green Golf Tournament to be held on Friday September 12
th at the Elks Golf Course.� This event benefits the Feeding South Dakota/BackPack Program.
What is the BackPack Program? Our public schools provide free or reduced meals to children at risk of hunger through the National School Lunch Program. The BackPack Program provides at-risk children with nutritious, easy to prepare foods for the weekends until school and access to the meal programs resume. Currently the BackPack program provides weekend food packages to nearly 1800 students in the Black Hills and surrounding areas, and is hoping to reach those still in need. That is where WE come in!
