Indianapolis, IN -� Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indianas largest credit union, partnered with Indiana Blood Center for a blood drive on Monday, June 23, 2014 at their headquarters located in Indianapolis.
The Bloodmobile was on site from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm for employees to donate. �In all, 15 units of blood were collected from IMCU employees which will help 45 patients in Indiana hospitals.�� The entire process of donating blood takes less than an hour and includes a cholesterol, blood pressure, blood type, and iron check.
Ron Collier, president and CEO of IMCU stated, "Hosting a blood drive is one way that many IMCU employees choose to help others, while making a big impact.� I am proud to say that IMCU employees were able to help fellow Hoosiers in our community and give the gift of life through their donation.� This is our second drive this year, due to the interest and volunteers that participate."
