Credit Union Professional Supports Financial Fitness

Austin, TX Rachel Fausett, Business Development Officer with Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU) and co-chair for Financial Fitness Greater Austin (FFGA) 2014 was presented with a Distinguished Partner Award at the Annual Outcomes meeting on Monday, June 23, 2014. This was the second year in a row that Rachel received this recognition and distinction.
Financial Fitness Greater Austin, established in 2008, is an education and awareness�initiative in partnership with more than 60 entities in the Greater Austin area. The goal of FFGA is to provide financial awareness and information to the Greater Austin community and emphasize the importance of financial literacy and the need for consumers to be proactive about managing their finances. www.financialfitnesaustin.org
Rachel Fausett has been volunteering with FFGA since its creation in 2008 and has been the web developer since May 2008. For the 2014 FFGA campaign, Rachel took on the role of co-chair while still maintaining the website and also helped with creation and editing of marketing materials.
GTFCU has 17 locations across the state of Texas with over 66,000 members and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
