Credit Union Employee Recognized for Financial Literacy Efforts

LOS ANGELES, CA Astrid Rives, Chief Marketing Officer for SkyOne Federal Credit Union, has been awarded special Congressional recognition for�Outstanding Business Leadership in the Financial Service Industry.��Ms. Rives received this honor from Congressman John Campbell who chairs the House Financial Services Subcommittee.
SkyOne Federal Credit Union provides a full range of financial products to 34,000 air transportation employees and their family members. Ms. Rives, a veteran of the Credit Union industry for almost two decades, was selected for this recognition by Congressman Campbell based on her leadership in supporting the financial literacy of SkyOne members and local Southern California communities. �Among these important financial education programs were the�Bite of Reality Financial Workshops�that help young teens understand the basics of finances and managing budgets; and the�Borrow and Save�small dollar loan product benefiting low-and-moderate income consumers.�
