CUADTwo annual CUAD scholarships were awarded during the recent CUAD Summit that was held in Sioux Falls, SD on June 4 6, 2014. Damon Punt of Northern Hills Federal Credit Union in Sturgis, South Dakota, was awarded the William O. Knight Scholarship.� This scholarship was established in 1964 in honor of William O. Knight, former managing director of the South Dakota Credit Union League. Its purpose is to promote education in relationship to credit unions and among credit union members and personnel. The scholarship provides for the registration fee to attend CUNA Management School. Travis Dengel of Railway Credit Union in Mandan and Bismarck, North Dakota, was awarded the Arnold C. Paulson Scholarship.� This scholarship was established in 1994 to promote the education of the Dakota credit union family, as exemplified by the distinguished credit union career of Arnold C. Paulson, president of the North Dakota Credit Union League and Affiliates from 1973-1994. The $250 scholarship is used for credit union volunteers and professionals to defray costs to attending the annual CUAD convention.
