Credit Union Awards "Reach for the Stars" to JROTC Cadet

Paul J Marotta Reach for the Stars RecipientHanscom AFB, Mass. Hanscom FCU was proud to recently present the Paul J. Marotta Reach for the Stars award to Lowell JROTC Cadet Nicole Zapata. The award was established by the Lowell High School Junior ROTC program in honor of the Hanscom FCU Board Chairman as a living tribute to the time, energy and efforts that he has provided to young people, especially the Lowell JROTC cadet. It was presented to Ms. Zapata by Mr. Marotta himself. "Four years after being overwhelmed with the honor of presenting the first time, Im every bit as thrilled and humbled doing it today," said Marotta. "But the best part is meeting a new, amazing Lowell ROTC student every year, shaking their hand and knowing exactly why I and Hanscom FCU have committed ourselves to these young people."
