Credit Union Employees Volunteer in Community

CaptureDaleville, Ala. In the spring of 2014, Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) employees and their family members volunteered 139 hours in their communities at many different events. Corporate volunteer projects included:
  • Painting at DeFuniak Springs Boy Scouts of America Camp, DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
  • Landscaping and cleaning at SOS Animal Shelter, Enterprise, Ala.
  • Assisting in shipment deliveries at Mobile Habitat for Humanity, Mobile, Ala.
  • Working at the 2014 Earth Day Festival with E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, Freeport, Fla.
  • Serving dinner at the Steak and Burger dinner with Ozark Boys and Club, Ozark, Ala.
  • Making bowls for the Empty Bowls project with Pike County Salvation Army, Troy, Ala.
  • Houston County Spirit of Service Day with Landmark Park and Highlands Elementary School, Dothan, Ala.
AACFCU organizes volunteer projects twice throughout the year for employees and their family members in every AACFCU service area.� In 2013, AACFCU employees volunteered over 770 hours in their communities.
