Credit Union Helps Restore Local Habitat

050614RedwoodCU Twelve Redwood CU employees and family members, along with approximately 60 other community volunteers participated in the 5th� Annual Laguna de Santa Rosa Re-Leaf Daya local tree-planting effort to help restore the degraded habitat area along Irwin Creek near the Laguna. More than 600 trees and shrubs were planted. On a similar note, 25 teams of Redwood CU employees participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters "Bowl for Kids Sake" at Double Decker Lanes in Rohnert Park, CA. In addition, staff collected donations for the nonprofit, bringing the credit unions collective Big Brothers Big Sisters contributions to more than $12,500.
