Credit Union Supports Healthy Work and Home Life for Employees

Fresno, CA May 1, 2014 Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) has been selected as a recipient of the 2014 Child-Friendly Business Awards.

Each year First 5 Fresno County presents the award to five local businesses that excel in supporting a healthy work and home life for their employees.

Beth Dooley, EECU president and CEO, said assisting employees with child-related situations that arise benefits everyone.� "We believe that maintaining a balance between work and home life is good for our employees and our credit union," she said. "We are honored to receive this award."

EECU and the four other recipients were recognized at an award ceremony in April.

First 5 Fresno County provides services that promote early childhood development.

EECU has 15 branches and serves more than 227,000 members in 10 Central California counties.
