Credit Union CEO is Inspiration for Girls

Beth Dooley - EECUFresno, CA� Beth Dooley, EECU president and CEO, has been selected as an honoree for the Girl Scouts Women Inspiring Girls Awards.

����������� Dooley was one of three women chosen to join 30 other local women from Fresno and Kern Counties who have been honored with the award in the past five years. A luncheon in April recognized dynamic women who have made a positive impact in the community.

����������� "Its quite an honor to receive this award," said Dooley.� "Being part of the Girl Scouts is a great way for young girls to build courage, confidence and character, and Im proud to be recognized by the Girl Scouts with this award.� I hope that I can be an inspiration to these young girls who will be the next generation of strong, intelligent, successful women."

Dooley has been the president/CEO of EECU since December 2007.� Prior to joining EECU, Dooley was appointed to the position of Deputy Commissioner of Credit Unions for the California Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) by Governor Gray Davis, continuing her service under Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.� She earned her B.A. in Economics from Mills College and her J.D. from Western State University College of Law.� She is a member of the California Bar.

EECU has 15 branches and serves more than 227,000 members in 10 Central California counties.
