Credit Union Holding FREE Community Shred Day

uwMadison, WI UW Credit Union has partnered with Shred-it to host its 10th Annual Shred-it Event. This year's event will be held at UW Credit Union's Mayfair branch at 2365 North Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa, Wis., and at UW Credit Union's Corporate Office located at 3500 University Ave. in Madison. The event is free and open to the public and is held to help members of the community safely dispose of unwanted personal documents. Shredding services will be available at the Mayfair branch in Wauwatosa on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Shredding services will be available at the Corporate Office in Madison on Friday, May 16, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. People are welcome to bring up to three boxes of unneeded confidential documents to be shredded and recycled for free. Shred-it specializes in providing secure document destruction services. After material is shredded on site, it is later baled and recycled.
