AvantiFCUYOUTH WEEKWatertown, SD - Avanti FCU joined in the fun for Aprils National Financial Literacy Month and Youth Week, and exceeded all of their goals, which were set according to CUNAs suggestions for credit unions of their size. In fact, the credit union nearly doubled their original goals of receiving 38 deposits made by youth totaling $2,500 and opening 4 new youth accounts, as they received 72 deposits totaling $4555.30 and opened 8 new accounts! "The staff did a fantastic job decorating the credit union, including our own beach said Judy Wolff, Manager of Avanti FCU. "I think CUNA did a great job this year with the theme, the kids loved it and the beach balls were a hit!" she added. In the spirit of Financial Literacy Month, the credit union also posted a link on their homepage to encourage members of all ages to learn more about saving, building wealth, and making smarter financial decisions.
