dowMIDLAND, MICH., Recently, nearly 20 Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union staff members teamed up to clean nearly three miles of median and shoulder area along US-10. Dressed in warm clothes and bright-yellow reflector vests, the staff members cleaned up trash and other debris between the Stark Road and Eastman Road exits on both sides of the highway. "Our employees work hard, both as members of the DCECU staff and as members of the community," said DCECU President/CEO Dennis Hanson. "I enjoy the time we spend as a team, whether its as good stewards of our neighborhood or through support of community organizations." Previously, DCECU employees cleaned up almost a mile of the boulevard area in front of the credit union, between East Lyon and East Patrick roads between Pine and Washington streets. In addition to volunteer events such as the roadway cleanup projects, DCECU employees also engage in fundraising for various causes. Already in 2014, the employees have raised nearly $1,000 for charitable and community organizations through regular Jeans Day fundraisers. About Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union DCECU has more than $1.4 billion in assets and nearly 57,000 members. Not a member? Its easier than ever to join.
