ATHENS, GA Georgia United Credit Union congratulates Rosemarie Egan of Athens as the winner of their CAN HUNGER iPad drawing contest! �All members who donated a can to Georgia Uniteds Annual CAN HUNGER Food Drive and completed a drawing ticket were eligible to be entered to win. Georgia Uniteds CAN HUNGER drive collected 42,223 cans (21 tons) for local food banks and Rosemaries name was selected at random to receive an iPad Air notebook.
Rosemarie stopped by Georgia Uniteds 190 Gaines School Road Branch today to pick up her prize and told Branch Manager Chris Conway, "I work at Kroger and bank with Georgia United so it was easy for me to buy a few extra canned goods to donate to this worthy cause. I really didnt think about the iPad drawing until I got the call that I had won!"
