Fitchburg, MA� CU 4 Reality, a financial education program sponsored by a group of five local Credit Unions, conducted its sixth annual CU 4 Reality Fair on April 15
th.� CU 4 Reality is a nationally recognized financial education program for middle and high school students that to date has worked with more than 40,000 students throughout the New England region. "In partnership with local schools as well as credit union and area businesses volunteers, students participated in the
CU 4 Reality Fair," said Jennifer Maguy, "a fun and exciting learning-simulation of spending and budgeting based on career choices and lifestyle decisions".
CU 4 Reality begins with a classroom curriculum guide that was developed by educators for educators, and it integrated directly into the existing classroom curriculum.
The group of credit unions that sponsored the
CU 4 Reality Fair was GFA Federal Credit Union (Gardner, MA), IC Federal Credit Union (Fitchburg, MA), Leominster Credit Union (Leominster, MA), Webster First Federal Credit Union (Worcester, MA) and Workers' Credit Union (Fitchburg, MA).
