Credit Union Supports Charities with Bake and Craft Sale

bakesaleLatham NY - Community Resource Federal Credit Unions employees held a Spring Bake and Craft Sale on Friday, April 18 and raised $1,360 for their adopted charities.� The money will be placed in the Community Resource Employee Charity Fund and distributed to Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, and Grassroot Givers by year-end. "This event is truly a team effort. All of our employees do something to help. Either theyre baking several kinds of baked goods, or they have a talent and theyre making crafts in advance to donate to the sale," said Amy Westfall, Spring Bake & Craft Sale Leader, and Loan Coordinator at Community Resource Federal Credit Union. Community Resources employees plan several fundraising events throughout the year. On Saturday, May 3, the employees will collect recyclable soda, beer and water bottles and cans for the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.� Future events include a Phantasmic Calendar Raffle in September, a Haunted Asylum in October, a Fall Bake & Craft Sale in November, and Pet Photos With Santa in December.
