Credit Union Provides FREE Recycling and Shred Day for Community

americaneagleEAST HARTFORD, CT - American Eagle Federal Credit Union sponsored a free�Drive-Thru Electronic Recycling and Paper Shred Day on Saturday, April 26 at American Eagle Federal Credit Union, 417 Main Street in East Hartford. Safe and secure electronic recycling was provided by SpaceFitters for unwanted computers, laptops, monitors, printers, computer cables/wires/mice, televisions, telephones, light bulbs, batteries, and lamps. Safe and secure paper shredding was provided by Iron Mountain for up to three boxes/bags of paper (per person) for on-site confidential shredding. "This is our third year hosting a Shred Day. We feel that this is a valuable service to provide for the residents of East Hartford and the surrounding towns," said Brian Kennedy, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. "This event provides individuals with a sense of confidence in knowing they are able to dispose of documents and unwanted electronics in a safe and secure way," added Kennedy.
