Credit Union Helps Flood Victims to Rebuild

tccu BND Flood loan picMinot, ND - In late March, Bank of North Dakota (BND) officials presented Town & Country Credit Union employees with a Rebuilders Loan Award.� The award was presented by the Bank of ND in appreciation of the credit union's contribution to rebuilding communities after the 2011 Souris River Flood.� In total Town & Country helped 224 members access financing through the BND Rebuilders Loan program. "Helping members in their greatest time of need is a role that credit unions are privileged to fulfill. The Bank of ND helped our members access low interest financing and I'm proud that we were able to help more than 200 members access that funding," commented Darrell Olson, Town & Country Credit Union CEO / President. The Rebuilders Loan received its first application December 1, 2011 and closed September 30, 2012. It was reopened with expanded parameters April 1, 2013 and closed September 30, 2013. The Supplemental Rebuilders Loan was available October 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013.� In addition to Town & Country Credit Union,�BND recognized six other financial institutions with this award for facilitating a high number of Rebuilders Loans.
