Credit Union Raises $1,000 for American Red Cross

Jamestown, ND - First Community Credit Union (FCCU) recently participated in Red Cross Awareness month by holding fundraisers to raise money for the American Red Cross.� All 15 of the credit unions branches held fundraisers to collectively raise $1000.
"I was excited to take part in driving awareness for the Red Cross, which has provided aid in some form or other within all of our branch communities. It was our way to give a little something back," �said Stephanie Finck, Board Member of the Buffalo Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross and Vice President of Operations at First Community Credit Union.
Finck goes on to say "The Red Cross helps with disaster aid as well as helping soldiers communicate with their families when they are stationed away from home. I am proud of the support that the FCCU employees in all our branches gave during the fundraising event as well as our members who supported us. It truly shows the commitment they have to our communities."
