Credit Union Hosting Outdoor Movie Night for Kids

mountain Asheville, NC Mountain Credit Union recently announced that it will culminate its National Credit Union Youth Week celebration with a “Kid’s Outdoor Movie Night” beginning at 5:30pm on Friday April 25 th at the Candler, NC branch, located at 1453 Sand Hill Road. This year’s Youth Week theme is Catch the $ave Wave™, in hopes of harnessing the excitement for beaches, sand and surfing and to show younger members how they can benefit from visiting — and saving at — their credit union. The credit union is asking for the public to go online and vote for their choice of four movies that fit this theme. The movie receiving the most votes will be the one shown. This event is open to credit union members and non-members alike. Many local businesses have shown their support by agreeing to sponsor certain elements of the event. These businesses include Fletcher Car Care, Clean Streak Inc. of Mills River and Sam’s Club of Hendersonville. Local radio station, 99.9 KISS Country, will also be on site doing a live remote during the two hours leading up to movie time. Other activities that will occur during the week of April 20 th – 26 th include encouraging children to print out and color their choice of two coloring pages that can be returned to their local branch for display. Each branch will be decorated with a fun, beach theme throughout April. There are also fun prizes that will be given away including several cash prizes valued at up to $50.
