cubroadcastHunger is a very serious issue in America. Leading the charge to educate our country on this issue that seems to get swept under the rug is American Community Project's Dan Emery. Dan has already gone to great lengths to spread the word about hunger in America, but his endeavor in 2014 will prove to be his biggest yet. Dan and his friend Myles Chung have set out on a nationwide tour, "Exploring Hunger: 48 States in 48 Weeks," to let folks know about this issue and how they can help. They are hoping to raise $1 million that will be spread evenly to each state they visited to make a dent in this issue. And backing this venture are several credit unions -- once again stepping up to assist in yet another worthy cause. Check out this informative and funny interview from CU Broadcast's Mike Lawson with Dan during one of his stops to discover more about his and Myles' excellent adventure across our nation to address hunger in America. And if you're a credit union or industry vendor that would like to get involved with their trek, get off the couch now and help out! Chances are they will be coming to a town near you.
