Fresno, CA A Central Valley man won EECUs 12 Weeks of Savings campaign grand prize, a $3,500 travel certificate that he will use for a family trip to Peru this summer.
Hector Lozadas name was randomly chosen by Educational Employees Credit Union based in Fresno from more than 1,500 entries into the sweepstakes during the 12 Weeks campaign from last October to December. Lozada and his wife, Malena, and their two sons were hoping to travel to Peru this year to visit relatives. The travel certificate made those plans a certainty, he said. �"Now were going for sure," Lozada said. "Its going to be great."
In January, Lozada was presented with the travel certificate at an EECU branch in Visalia, where he banks. "I would recommend EECU to anyone," Lozada said. "I like the friendly atmosphere, and the people are always willing to work with you."
During the 12 Weeks of Savings campaign, EECU featured a special rate, product offer or giveaway each week. Every member who took advantage of an offer was automatically entered into the sweepstakes for a chance to win the travel certificate.
