Credit Union Donates $50,000 to Celebrate Smiles Program

uwMadison, WI UW Credit Union and its members raised $50,000 for Access Community Health Centers Celebrate Smiles program. Thanks to this successful matching campaign, more Dane County children will receive dental care through this in-school mobile dental service. Donations made through UW Credit Unions Web Branch or at a branch location between November 20 and December 31, 2013, were matched, dollar-for-dollar, for a total contribution of $50,000 to the program. �"The support provided by the members and staff of UW Credit Union has been extraordinary, and will make a real difference in the lives of the children we serve," says Access CEO Ken Loving, M.D. Celebrate Smiles brings licensed dental staff into Dane County schools, providing critical preventative and restorative dental treatment to children who have the greatest need. This program makes dental care available to every child who needs it, giving hundreds of kids a better chance to do well in school.
