Credit Union Sponsors $25,000 Grant for Affordable Housing

  San Jose, CA - Meriwest CU sponsored a $25,000 Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) Affordable Housing Grant for the Atta Family to complete financing on their home that was recently constructed by Habitat for Humanity East Bay Silicon Valley. FHLB of San Francisco uses their profits to support affordable housing projects where institutions such as Meriwest CU can sponsor Affordable Housing Program applications from community development organizations with residential projects in need of financing.
