Sioux Falls,�SD -��Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union (SFFCU) is now accepting applications for their 2014 Community Service Scholarship Award Program.� SFFCU will award up to two $1000 scholarships to eligible students who plan to attend, or are currently enrolled in, a post-high school educational institution and have demonstrated outstanding service to their community.
To apply, scholarship entrants must be a member of SFFCU in good standing, or meet the eligibility criteria and become a member prior to submitting the entry form.� Each entry must include a signed entry form, an essay describing the applicants community service activities in the past twelve months, and a letter of recommendation from an unrelated person who is familiar with the applicants community service activities.
Applications are available online at
siouxfallsfcu.org.� All entries must be submitted by April 18, 2014.� Recipients will be notified by May 9, 2014.
All entries will be judged on a set of criteria to include financial need, academic achievement, service to the community, the letter of recommendation and literary quality of the essay.
